Palasa
After passing Llogara through a road that dates back to the Pompey period, you descend into the village of Palasa. The first villlage of the region!
Drymades
Drymades is a picturesque village of a particular atmosphere. It is thought to have first been inhabited in 49-48 B.C. Famous for its crystal-clear waters, and small intimate pebble beaches.
Ilias
A little south from Drymades through a green nature the road brings us to the village of Ilias or Lates in local language. Along these road there is a beautiful canyon which ends to the great beach of Gjipe.
Vuno
The village of Vuno is located north of Himara with a distance of 8 Km. A village with a typical medieval urbanization, which in itself is a roadmap to discover the paths, tunnels and high stone houses.
Himara
Continuing your tour towards the south, you will come across the small city of Himara and the capital of the Riviera. Himara is the ancient residence and city of the Kaon clan and it was founded in the sixth century B.C.
Piluri
The village is established in top of the mountain with a fantastic view of the Ionian Sea and Himara alltohether, because of its location and its name Piluri is also named balcony of Himara.
Kudhesi
Kudhesi lies in the south west 6 km from the Ionian Sea, and height of 335m above sea level. Cobblestone streets clean of the orient and tiled courtyards full of flowers of houses, spread along the coast between the olives.
Qeparo
Close to the gulf of Porto Palermo stands the village of Qeparo with its own distinctive beach and its older "brother" Old Qeparo, built on top of the hill.
Borsh
The village of Borshi is situated a few hundred meters away from the shore, nearly 20 minutes from Himara. This is the largest beach of the Albanian Riviera, almost 6 km of clear water.
Piqeras
Nearly 2 km further from Borsh we find the village of Piqeras and its popular Bunec Beach with its beautiful stream of crystal-clear water flowing directly to the Ionian sea.
Lukove
The last seaside village on the Albanian Riviera is the village of Lukova, well known for its terraces of citrus and olive trees.
Shen Vasil
A large Oak treee in the center and a "good place" where you can light candles for the dead and alive, distinguish the village of St. Vasil from all the other villages of the riviera.
Nivice
A bone-jarring drive along a rough track with switchbacks frequented more by goats than by cars leads to the small village of Nivice, where time appears to have stood still for decades.
